ILOILO CITY — the Philippine National Police (PNP) under newly designated Chief PNP General Nicolas Torre continues the reshuffling and reassignments of officers in various commands and regions.
In Western Visayas PRO-6 regional director Gen. Jack Wanky was reassigned to Region IV-A (CALABARZON) effective Thursday June 19, PRO-6 spokesman Lt. Col. Arnel Solis said in a press statement.
Replacing Wanky as OIC, Office of the regional director of PRPO-6 is police Gen. Ponce Rogelio “Ponjie” Peñones Jr. who served as deputy regional director for administration of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) immediately before this assignment.
