The League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Guimaras chapter elected its new set of officers for the 2025-2028 term with Mayor John Edward Gando of the capital town Jordan as president.
Immediately after the elections Guimaras governor Lucille Nava administered the oath of office for the new officers on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Besides president #JohnEdwardGando other officers are, vice president Emmanuel Galila – Nueva Valencia mayor, secretary general Samuel Gumarin – Buenavista mayor, treasurer Jimmy Gajo – San Lorenzo mayor, and public relations officer Luben Vilches – Sibunag mayor.
Also inducted were the new officers of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) Guimaras chapter headed by Cyril Beltran, vice mayor of Buenavista as president.
