JORDAN, GUINARAS — Some 30 milking cows were allocated for Guimaras Coco Dairy Farmers Association out of the total 450 cattle imported by the Department of Agriculture – National Dairy Authority (DA-NDA) under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan Project (CFIDPP).
A team from CFIDPP with Project head Noli Manual visited Guimaras on Tuesday, May 6 and met with provincial officials to kick-start ways of increasing productivity and income of coconut farmers here.
Guimaras officials headed by Provincial administrator Carissa Ann Eñano, with Alvin Nava, chief at the Provincial office for agriculrural sercices (Poas) welcomed the DA-NDA guests on behalf of Governor Rahman Nava
