Among the Philippine Basketball Association’s (PBA) prolific ball handlers and scorers awhile ago, Terence Romeo was guest speaker at the opening program on Friday, September 11 of the 3rd Congressional District Sports Association (CDSA) meet in host town Maasin.
The ongoing 3rd CDSA meet is second in a series of school-based level 2 competitions, consequently elevated to level 3 in the province, level 4 in the region and culminates in the Palarong Pambansa early next year.
Elementary and secondary schools in 9 towns of the 3rd Iloilo congressional district are sending in athletes to vie for gold, silver and bronze medals.
Meanwhile, Santa Barbara emerged at the top of competitions for medals in the just concluded 2nd CDSA meet held in Leon town.
