Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has designated Engr. Rodney A. Gustilo, OIC assistant regional director (ARD) of the DPWH Negros Island Region (NIR) as chairman of the “Temporary Placement Committee.”
In Special Order 61 dated May 28, 2025 Sec. Bonoan noted that “in view of recent approval by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) of the creation of new positions for the DPWH NIR, a Temporary Placement Committee, on the evaluation of applicants to Division Chief position to be appointed to the Negros Island Region is hereby created.”
Also named by Secretary Bonoan as members of the temporary placement committee were District Engr. Dene B. Baldonado Jr. of Negros 1st District Engineering Office (DEO), Atty. Ayaon S. Manggis from Region VII, and Engr. Jerry E. Evangelio representing the Rank and File Employees Association (RAFEA).
